Harvey (aka Zeus) and Cooper (aka Coop)
- Adopted May 2006 and May 2007, respectively.

Harvey and Cooper - Best Friends Forever!

In a letter from Harvey and Cooper's new family:

Hi Atlanta Dog Squad,

We wanted to give an update on the boys (Zeus, now Harvey & Coop, now Cooper).

We adopted Harvey back in May of 2006, he has been such a joy. He is one of the smartest dogs I've ever met! As he got older, we could tell that he wanted someone else to play with, so in May 2007, we adopted cute little Cooper.

He is probably the sweetest dog in the world. He still runs and jumps around like a little puppy. Harvey has definitely toughened Cooper up and now they love playing with each other. They are the best of friends, they sleep together and lay all over each other...sometimes it doesn't look very comfortable, but they sleep like that for hours!

They love going to the local dog park and doggie daycare, especially because they have an in ground swimming pool!

We are so grateful to have gotten such wonderful dogs from you guys and if we are ever in the market again, your adoption will be our first stop!

Here are some pictures of the boys!

Thanks you again so much,

Nick and Jolene

Gracie Lynn - Adopted 3/8/2008

Gracie's New Home

In an email to the Dog Squad:

Good afternoon Atl Dog Squad! It has been 2 months since I adopted Gracie Lynn and I wanted to thank you!

Gracie has been a great addition to my family. She has quite the personality. She absolutely loves people, and is learning to love other dogs as well. She is very playful, but also let's me sleep in on the weekends. Although my cat wasn't sure about her at first, she is starting to come around as well!

I have attached a few pictures of Gracie since she has been with me. I know all of these pictures are of her sleeping, but she is just so cute when she sleeps!

Thanks for keeping Atl Dog Squad going. I think Gracie and I are a great match.

Michelle

Goliath - Adopted 10/24/2008

Goliath Gets All the Hugs He Can Handle

In a letter from Goliath's new family:

Goliath is such a wonderful boy! Ever since we first took him home, he has been an absolute angel. We are so thankful to ADS for rescuing him, and so many others like him.

Goliath is the most affectionate dog I've ever known. He loves hugs, and he loves to snuggle with us. I especially love it when he goes to sleep in my arms while I'm watching TV on the couch. He keeps me so warm and cozy! He gets attention everywhere we take him, because he is so remarkably beautiful, friendly, and well-behaved. He is such a perfect gentleman!

He is the best friend and companion we could ever hope for, and we feel amazingly blessed to have him as part of our family.

Regards,

Jenny

Waffle (now Woody) - Adopted 10/24/2008

Focus, Woody... focus!

Waffle is doing great in his new home, where it sounds like he's getting some good training:

Waffle... now Woody, is doing really well. He and my other dog Buck are getting along wonderfully. They play, wrestle, and sometimes get a little rowdy, but even though Woody is three times Bucks size, he is never too rough and always lets Buck feel like the "bigger" dog.

He is doing really well with his leash training, and has already learned to heal. He has had no "accidents" in the house, and has only chewed up one thing (the remote!), but Woody and I are still working hard everyday. He gets excited very easily, so we are working on staying calm with sit/stay commands, and keeping his attention on me when we are outside on our walks.

He is so smart and so sweet. He really just wants to be with me all of the time...even when I am in the shower! He is a really good boy, thank you so much for helping me find him! He has fit in just perfectly with out family.

If you need anything at all from me, just let me know. I have attached some photos of the big lug and I hope they make you smile as much as they make me.

Stephanie
