Bodacious is a Southern term that means remarkable, outstanding or bold -- and this 8-month old chocolate Lab pup definitely lives up to his name. Bodacious, or "Bo" to his friends, is looking for a new family that's active and has a lot of time to spend playing with him, and teaching him how a gorgeous Lab should behave. Bo was rescued by his original owner as a pup when it was discovered two of his littermates had been poisoned by hoodlums in the neighborhood. His owners had the best of intentions, but their jobs did not allow them the time to spend training and exercising Bo -- so he spent most of his puppyhood living in a crate.

Like the typical Lab that he is, Bo craved more attention from his family and needed time playing to burn off the energy he built up in the crate all day. When Bo's owner received military orders that required he be away from home for 5 months, he contacted ADS to find a more fitting home for this awesome dog. This boy is pure Lab -- beautiful, playful and always ready for a good romp. He's loving and very smart, and with some training will make a dog-savvy family one bodacious companion.
