Bogey is a two year old Lab mix who is the inspiration for "man's best friend"... and for "woman's best friend" for that matter... and "kid's best friend"... and while we're at it "kitty's best friend".

After a long tedious two hours trying to get him out of his run at the shelter, he has blossomed into a true hug machine. Bogey is crate trained and good with other dogs and cats. (Note: The cat in the picture does not come with him). He walks beautifully on a leash - calm and slow enough for a child to handle but he's probably best with older kids. He's not fond of long walks as he realizes that it takes away from his time being a couch potato and snuggling.

If you're looking for a true companion, best friend and side kick, then Bogey is ready to fulfill that job description. Oh, and no, you're not seeing things... he is brindle.
