SquadDog Gabby

Meet Gabby, who's name is truly a misnomer. We're not sure she can bark - haven't heard her yet. This quiet unassuming little Border Collie mix had been on her own for quite a while when her guardian angel led her to a home of an ADS volunteer. She's still on the skinny side and could add another 5 pounds to her petite 28 pound frame. At a year old, she's not going to get any taller and we doubt she'll get any rowdier! Gabby absolutely adores all the attention she is getting in her foster home from the big dogs and the little cats. Her favorite thing to do is follow her foster mom around - whether it's to the bathroom or to cook dinner or to do laundry.

In the short time that Gabby has found someone who cares about her, she's learned her name, how to sit, how to walk gently on a leash and how to let her foster mom know she needs to go out. She's also crate trained but won't need it once her housebreaking is complete - she doesn't chew or do any other destructive behaviors. This little lady is looking for a quiet forever home with a family that will love her just the way she is - quiet, thankful and well-behaved!
