Meet Squad Dog Meeka - a 14 week old, female Lab pup (date of birth 3/10/07). Meeka was turned in to animal control because her owners couldn't take care of both Meeka and their human baby. Because animal control was full, Meeka was going to be euthanized almost immediately. However, a quick-thinking officer was able to reach an ADS Volunteer who acted quickly to save Meeka. Meeka is an outgoing, happy pup who's already begun her housetraining.
