Watch Ryan's Video
Have you ever needed a second chance? Well, that's what we plan to give Ryan, a 4 year old Lab with a wonderful disposition.
Originally picked up as a stray, Ryan got a chance to go home with a family, but they returned him because they worked long hours and Ryan hated staying in a crate. So much so that he pulled a Houdini -- escaping the crate not once, but twice. It was evident that he hated being left alone all day. So, unfortunately, Ryan found himself back at the shelter, hoping for a second chance.
When we saw him, we promised Ryan that ADS would help him find a new forever family that would give him the time and attention he craves. He was calm and slept in the back seat on the way to the vet's office, happy to be out of the shelter cage.
Ryan is a very sweet guy who bonds quickly to people. If you're looking for a strong companion, and have plenty of time to spend with your dog, then we hope you'll consider adopting Ryan. He's waiting to find his special forever friend.
UPDATE: Ryan's foster family thinks he's just wonderful. He's great with their dog and he just loves kids. He's good in the house but really, really, really doesn't like to be alone. He needs someone to spend a lot of time with him and another dog to romp with. He's the proverbial water-dog - absolutely loves to swim and joyfully jumps into the pool for a swim when given the opportunity. We can't keep him out of the kiddy pool at our adoption events! This is one sweet and fun boy.
