Meet Schatzie, a strikingly pretty Black Lab. Schatzie is a sweet girl who has fear issues and becomes frightened easily. Because of this she can be kind of particular about her canine friends so she needs to be an only dog and also will require a knowledgeable owner who can build her confidence and work with her fears. She will need loads of attention to help cultivate those wonderful Lab traits just waiting to burst forth.
Schatzie spent a few weeks living with a professional trainer, who believes she has lots of potential and will thrive in the right environment. She’ll need formal training by a committed person who will work with her to become more comfortable with new experiences. Adopting Schatzie will definitely be a huge commitment and more work than your average Lab... but we know it will be highly rewarding for her and her owner
