This is Scooby playing with his foster brother Hogan...
VIDEO:
Scooby and Hogan
This tiny boy is so darn precious it almost hurts to look at him. How he wound up in a shelter at only 12 weeks old, we'll never understand. He's not bashful when meeting new people and his confidence will grow even more with lots of love and good experiences. This boy is looking for a loving home where he can spend lots of time running and playing, and soaking up some serious snuggling. He just loves to be cuddled and held and hugged.
UPDATE FROM SCOOBY'S FOSTER MOM
The first two days that Scooby moved in were kind of scary. I was worried I'd gotten in over my head. He was pretty much airborne the entire time... totally filled with excitement and exuberance for what must have been his first opportunity to live in a house and to have lots of toys to play with.
He had a major case of the puppy-zoomies - constantly flying around like crazy, jumping off the couch onto his new foster siblings and grabbing any foot (human or canine) that walked near him. He ran everywhere - never walking... bouncing left, then right, then right, then left. He was never still. He was having such a good time and I don't think I've ever seen any dog any happier.
Things have greatly calmed down since then. Oh, don't get me wrong, he still gets the zoomies - and it's one of the funniest things to watch. You'll roll on the floor laughing. But he's much more acclimated to living with a family now.
His house-training is coming along and he has learned to play well with the other dogs. He's also an excellent snuggler. He knows "sit" and will sit with only a hand signal too. He'll bark on command. He knows how to fetch and he really loves his soccer ball. He's working on a new make-a-circle trick to show all of his new friends at the next adoption event. He loves to learn and responds really well to praise and treats.
His nickname is Dooby-Doo and he really seems to like it - he comes running with his ears flapping in the wind when you call him. He's a little guy with a super big personality. But he's growing up quickly - he'll be pretty big when full grown. This is one very special boy. Scooby will keep you amused and happy every day. I haven't stopped laughing since he moved in.
