He's as cute as a bug in a rug! Little Skyler was out running around unsupervised and got picked up by animal control. When his owners were notified, they released him to the shelter because they were moving and couldn't take him. Poor boy. He would just sit quietly and peak through the bars of his run looking for his family to come or for any friendly face. When we opened his run door, he stepped out with a giant smile and a happy wiggle. And then he headed for the door as though saying "What took you so long? Let's get outta this place!"

On the ride away from the shelter, he stood on the center console and rested his head on our volunteer's shoulder - a very gentle thank-you-for-saving-me hug. Then he moved to the back seat and smiled at everyone that passed. This boy has the kindest eyes and a great personality. He likes to follow you around and he insists on meeting everyone wherever he goes. He's quite the little social-butterfly - calm, outgoing and super friendly. And, although our pictures just don't quite capture it, he is as cute as they come. Skyler is around a year and a half old and only around 45 lbs.
