Snowy is a perfect description of this adorable girl's appearance -- but Lucky might have been a more appropriate name. On our trip to a local shelter to pick up Squad Dog Taffy, this petite little Lab/terrier mix was strategically positioned in the first run seen as you enter the kennel area. She was so cute that we took note and hoped she would be there long enough for us to rescue her on a subsequent trip.

Location worked to her advantage (along with her cute and spunky attitude) because when our volunteer walked back to pick up Taffy, she mistakenly brought Snowy out to the lobby. Well -- have you ever had to return a dog to the kennel after you've offered it a chance at freedom? It's practically impossible for any ADS volunteer -- SO, as luck (or location) would have it, Snowy became a member of the Squad sooner than expected.

She's an absolute cutie, and although she's only 8-10 months old, we don't believe she'll grow much beyond 40-45 pounds. That means she'll always look like a yellow Lab pup! Snowy is an all-white, bundle of fun ready-made for a family interested in a smaller Lab mix.
