SquadDog Tara

Looking for a calm, mellow, sweetheart of a Lab? Then 2-year-old Tara could be your girl. She's over the wild, chewing, running, barking, hyperactive young Lab stage and is really into following her favorite two-legged people around. She also enjoys an occasional walk around the block. She walks so well on a leash that a young child could successfully handle her. She was obviously neglected in her previous home but that just makes her so thankful for anything you give her. When we showed Tara her bed, she just looked at us as if we had given her the moon. When her bed was invaded by a feline foster sibling, she calmly maneuvered her body into the bed with the kitten. She's housebroken and has been given free run of her foster home. Tara would do best in a low-key house that is relatively quiet where she can bask in your unconditional love.
