SquadDog Babs

Happy! Happy! Happy! Babs is very happy just to be in her foster home and to spend time with her friends. This petite 2-year-old yellow Lab mix came into a high kill shelter as a stray. No one came to reclaim her, which just amazed the shelter staff because she is such an adorable girl! ADS stepped in to help and Babs has really blossomed in her foster home. She loves to go for short walks where she never leaves your side. Sometimes she gets so close to you that you almost trip over her. She walks so calmly that even a child could walk her.

At only 40 pounds, she's also a great size to sit on the sofa and cuddle up in your lap. Babs knows how to love and has occasional moments where she feels she really needs to tell you just how much she loves you by giving you great wet sloppy kisses. She's a very smart girl and has already learned "sit" and "down" since being in her foster home. She's also a very quiet dog and has only barked once since being out of the shelter. (She saw a rabbit and wanted to chase it). If small, quiet, affectionate and very happy is exactly what you are looking for, then please take the time to meet Babs!
