SquadDog Charlotte

Charlotte has a happy, bubbly personality and is a joy to be around. She’s around 3 years old and, to be honest, she’s a bit of a chunky monkey. Her family dropped her off at the shelter because she kept jumping their fence and digging out of the yard. Well, go figure! She’s a Lab! She doesn’t want to be penned up alone in the yard. She loves people, kids and other dogs, and just wants to be a part of what’s going on.

Charlotte is very excited about being selected to be a Squad Dog. She is eagerly looking forward to being an integral part of a family. She’s been practicing her “happy to meet you” greeting and we’re trying to help her take it down a notch. You might still want to brace yourself, just in case she decides to “show you the joy” and smother you in kisses. Charlotte is really a good girl and very much a family dog. Her friendly, happy and out-going personality will bring a ton of happiness to her new home.

Update from Charlotte's Foster Mom:

Charlotte is like a bodacious cheerleader that went off to her first year of college and gained the Freshman Fifteen. She is vivacious, constantly ready to twirl for you, a little bit chunky, and she is so friendly that some people think that she’s easy. They are right. She will sleep with you if you feed her. She will sleep with you if you tell her she’s pretty. She will sleep with you if you give her a back rub. She will sleep with you if you just ask her to…

She does have very nice manners in the house, doesn’t counter cruise, is house and crate trained, doesn’t seem to need to chew or tear things up, and she will gladly clean up any crumbs you leave on the floor.

Charlotte is good with children, other dogs, and enjoys the company of men who wear her favorite cologne, Eau de French Fry (no trans fats, please, she’s on a diet so she can look good on her denim tuffet whilst basking in the sunshine). If you adopt Miss C, get a lottery ticket, too, because it IS your lucky day.
