Dana has the most beautiful eyes we've ever seen! While she’s pretty quiet at first, her soft brown eyes speak a thousand words and draw you in. She warms up pretty quickly and shows you that her personality is as beautiful as her eyes.

Our volunteer accidentally discovered her in a local shelter. Something about Dana caught her attention and she kept finding herself back in front of Dana’s run. Dana politely sat on the cold cement floor behind the wire fencing, quietly peeking around the corner to watch what was going on. She seemed completely baffled about why she was there ... yet calmly trusting someone would notice her and get her out.

Dana is five years old and was picked up by animal control as a stray. We’re not sure how anyone could allow her to go missing, or why they didn't search high and low for her. This wonderful girl is a Squad Dog now, and we'll make sure she goes to a loving home with people who keep her safe!
