Five year old Denali is a really a nice boy - very personable and sweet. Unfortunately, he appears to have been sitting on the couch eating chips for too long. He’s a bit overweight and needs some regular exercise to lose those extra pounds. He is such a gentle, loving and eager-to-please guy; he’ll make a wonderful companion for walks or trips to the park. Denali is an awesome boy!
Update from Denali's foster parents:
Denali is a big sweetheart. He knows come, sit, down, shake, and he's working on stay and wait. He walks perfectly on a loose leash around the neighborhood and gets along well with other dogs. He LOVES all people. He's very playful with a willing playmate but can also chill out with the family. He's a bit obsessed with tennis balls and lives to have you bump it a few inches so he can chase it. He also loves to get his face massaged! He's been sleeping quietly in his foster parent's bedroom at night and loving every minute of it. Denali had to be shaved because of being so matted when he came out of the shelter but he should have a long, beautiful coat when it grows back in.
