Dolly just bubbles with happiness. She's a typical young Lab - full of love and always ready for fun. She adores getting attention and is very cheerful overall. She loves to please and responds well to training too. Dolly is a 2-year-old English Lab so she has short legs and a more compact frame. At around 90 lbs, she's big, but could stand to lose a few pounds. Dolly is young and strong, and needs someone to help complete her training. She will make the perfect addition to a very lucky family.
Update:
Dolly is the sweetest dog ever. She's awesome with small children as well as great with other dogs. Around the house, she shadows your every move and she loves to snuggle with you in bed or on the sofa. She's great at the dog park where she runs and plays gently with all the other dogs. Dolly is very much a family dog. She is very affectionate; she adores kids, dogs, and attention. She also loves to play fetch and to swim... or to just lie in your lap and cuddle!
More on Dolly:
Dolly has been through a lot of changes in the past several months -including being abandoned, and then being adopted and returned. These situations were no fault of her own; she's merely been an innocent victim of the bad economy twice in a short amount of time. But all of these changes have taken their toll on sweet Dolly.
She still has the same loving personality and is an overall wonderful girl. She still loves to snuggle and be close by your side, however she becomes anxious and destructive now when left home alone. The recent constant instability in her life has caused severe separation anxiety; she panics when left home alone and crating has proven to be too stressful for her too.
These issues mean that Dolly requires a family that will commit to working with her to help her realize that she will not be left behind ever again. She needs a family that will be dedicated to helping her overcome her fear of abandonment and she’ll need time to believe again that her family is hers forever. It may be difficult initially, but spending your life with this incredibly wonderful girl and watching her thrive with your love and patience will be your reward one hundred times over.
