Anybody need some love? Duffy is definitely the boy that will give you all of the unconditional love you need. He is a happy little Flat Coated Retriever mix that always has a gentle demeanor and a cheerful smile. He came into a rural shelter as a stray and we immediately knew that he had to come home with us. His eyes light up and he gently stands on his hind legs to give you a hug and to look more deeply into your eyes. Duffy gets along well with cats, dogs and all people. He really enjoys a good game of tug-of war, and to fetch and chase.

Even though he is quite the athlete, Duffy loves to settle down in the house and he's very well behaved. He's crate-trained but has been given free run of his foster home because he's beyond all that destructive puppy-stuff! Duffy is a very smart, one-year-old and learns what is expected of him rather quickly. H walks so well on a leash that a child can handle him.
