Duncan is all about toys, TV and a nice comfy dog bed. This one-year-old black Lab came into the shelter as a stray and won the hearts of all the shelter volunteers.

Duncan’s a sturdy but small 50 pounds and he absolutely loves life. He gives wonderful kisses to share his happiness. He’s house, crate and doggy door trained too. He's good with all of his canine and feline siblings and really loves to ride in the car. Someone at some point obviously spent quality time with Duncan, as he knows how to play fetch, tug-of-war and knows his inside manners as well. He won't jump on the bed but will crawl into your lap on the sofa for a night of TV watching. He's very attracted to reality shows and shows with lots of kids making loud noises. When he’s ready for bed, he settles down into his doggy bed next to the fire and then joins you in the bedroom when the day is through. When he needs to go out, he has two ways of letting you know: he either gently paws the door or he brings you his leash! This is one smart little guy and he’ll keep you laughing with his silly antics. If you need a little joy in your life, be sure to meet Duncan.
