Handsome Fleming is looking for a happy, fun home with lots of toys and water. This amazingly smart Chesapeake Bay Retriever is one year old and knows “sit”, “shake”, “come” and “down”. True to his heritage, Fleming loves to swim and play fetch. And if you combine the two past times, he’s incredibly happy. He cheerfully spends hours in his wading pool just splashing around, moving his rope bone from one side of the pool to the other and blowing bubbles. When the weather isn’t conducive to a pool party, Fleming is always up for a game of fetch.
Although this boy loves to play, he knows his inside manners very well. He is house-trained and crate-trained, and sleeps through the night right next to the bed without making a peep. As an added bonus, Fleming is good with the cats and knows that they are off limits to his games. He does need work on his leash skills but he’s getting better every day on his after-dinner walks.
