This gentle little boy came into the shelter as a stray and quietly sat in the corner of his run, with his head down, waiting for someone to take him home. When no one came and his time was up, ADS had to help this precious boy. Hoover is so thankful to be in his foster home where he plays with his canine foster siblings and get lots of return hugs from his foster family. He is so gentle that he even gives kisses to his feline foster siblings. Like many Retrievers, he loves to carry toys around too. He’d be great as a playmate for another dog or as a pal to take to the ballpark or dog park. He likes to go for walks and is excellent a leash. Hoover is house-trained and crate trained.
