Ike is an incredibly handsome Chesapeake Bay Retriever! This young boy absolutely loves to play fetch both in and out of the water. True to his heritage, he has no qualms about getting wet and bringing things back to you. He has an impressive light-chocolate coat and he's rather sturdy and strong, but that just makes him so much more handsome!

He's a very friendly dog that loves his foster siblings - both dogs and cats, and always wants to play with whomever is up for a game of tug-of-war or fetch. At only about one-year-old, Ike needs someone who can play lots of games with him - either another dog or an active family would be great. He likes to ride in the car (unless you go under a bridge) so he'd be great to take to ballgames or the dog park. If you need help returning a softball or two during practice, Ike would definitely be glad to help. He loves to jump over things so if you've ever considered agility training, Ike is your man.

Although he is very active, he's also great in the house. He's crate-trained and after a fun day of playing, he sleeps like a log through the night. He is still working on his housetraining but as smart as this boy is, that should be easily accomplished. Do you think you could keep up with this gorgeous boy?
