Maxey is great fun and a bit of a character. He's a 3-year-old Yellow Lab that hangs on your every word - or maybe it just appears that way, especially if you have a treat handy. If he knows you have a tasty morsel for him, he'll immediately sit, smile a giant grin and wait for you to share. What a face! He's a lot of fun to play with and he's a master at catching treats in mid air.
Maxey is a product of our struggling economy. His owners left him at Animal Control saying only that they could no longer take care of him. Through all of the drama though, he's maintained a super happy personality. Maxey is looking for a family will always be there for him, consider him a full member of the family and realize that he is a lifetime commitment. He needs to know that he will never be left behind again, no matter how bad things get.
