Peggy Sue is absolutely wonderful! She's a pretty girl - a two and a half-year-old Lab and Collie mix. Although she's a little on the shy side, she happily welcomes personal attention. She walks very nicely on a leash and knows how to "sit" on command too. She does well with other dogs and she tries so very hard to please, so she is very easy to teach new things. Our Peggy Sue's attitude is as beautiful as her smile.
Update from Peggy Sue's foster mom:
When I brought sweet Peggy Sue home from boarding and took her into my fenced yard, she ran flat-out for a good 5 minutes. I could almost hear her say, "Free at last, free at last!" She was a little shy with my dogs at first, but is now their wrestling buddy and friend. When she came into our house for the first time, she made herself right at home on one of our dog beds and acted like a perfect lady. Peggy Sue is house-trained and lets me know when she wants to go out. She loves to play outdoors on a nice day. She also goes into the crate with no problems. She is fairly good on the leash, but could use a little refresher course. Everything is so new and she wants to smell it all! She is friendly with everyone and just adores my 13-year-old granddaughter. This girl has earned a place in our hearts in a very short time! She is a loving companion and will make some family a wonderful new friend.
