Pumpkin is a sweetheart of a Golden Retriever mix. She was surrendered to a shelter when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. This loving girl is 2 years old, house-trained, crate trained and knows the basic commands of "sit", "shake" and "speak".
Pumpkin was raised with another dog and gets along with her foster canine and feline residents but would do great as an only dog too. She is wonderful with children as she doesn't jump up or rush you when she's excited. She is so gentle on a leash that even a small child could walk her. Pumpkin has been given free run of her foster home and when she's home alone she can be found on her doggie bed - which she absolutely adores.
At less than 40 pounds, Pumpkin believes she is a lap dog and loves to spend hours curled up on her foster mom's lap with her head on her chest. If given the chance, Pumpkin will spend the night asleep in this position. She’s a very loyal and loving dog. If you're looking for a lifelong companion, be sure to check out Pumpkin.
