SweetPea is a gorgeous Black Lab who was left at a shelter when her owner thought she was pregnant. Surprise! She wasn't "with puppies" but her owner didn't come back to get her. No one could understand why because she truly lives up to her name.

SweetPea believes she's a lap dog. She'll quietly and slowly sneak into your lap when she thinks you won't notice. She'll start off resting her head on your lap and if that's okay then a paw is next. She'll follow shortly with the rest of her entire body. All this just so she can give you close-up kisses and share her love and admiration.

At three-years-old, she's house-trained, doesn't chew things up and seems to be past all that other crazy puppy stuff. She's crate-trained but has been given full run of her foster home even when she's home alone. She's a social butterfly during the day with all her canine and feline foster siblings. At night, she's totally enthralled with her doggy bed and feels like the most spoiled girl on Earth. She needs a little work walking on a leash but she's a quick learner and wants to please all the people in her little world.
