Tonka is a big boy - over 100 pounds of pure love actually. He's a nice family dog who will sneak you a few sweet, gentle kisses if he gets a chance. He takes treats very nicely, is an overall gentle boy. He's had a bit of training, since he seems to understand Sit and Stay. His also has incredible caramel colored eyes and he pays close attention, utilizing nice eye contact, when you sweet-talk him.

Like most Labs, he likes to ride. With our volunteer his body rode in the backseat but his face rode in the front seat - on her left shoulder most of the time. He'd occasionally give her a little thank-you kiss and rest his head periodically on her shoulder. What a sweetheart! And although he's large and strong, he is manageable on a leash but could definitely use some leash-skills training. He's around 7 years old and seems eager to make you happy.
