Yvette is adorable and affectionate - a delightful girl. She loves to play and spend time with you. She gets along great with the other dogs but is still a bit dependent on her sister Yvonne. That's probably to be expected as Yvonne has been the only constant in her life. Both girls were discarded by their previous owner, winding up at a high-kill shelter. Their wonderful personalities garnered them some advocates who sought to get them out... and we were more than happy to help them. Yvette is about a year old. She's a pretty girl with a beautiful coat and an extra short tail. Somewhere along the line she lost about 6 inches of it - regardless, she's still an incredibly nice looking Labby girl.
Yvonne is playful, loving and just an all-around great girl! She loves to take walks, ride in the car, play and then settle in for a good cuddle, nap or belly rub. Yvonne and Yvette are one-year-old sisters who were relinquished by their owner to a high-kill shelter. Being black dogs in a Southern shelter, they didn't stand much of a chance of ever making it out. Luckily, they befriended some shelter volunteers and the rest is history. They're Squad Dogs now - and a forever home is just around the corner. Yvonne is on the smaller side - only around 45 lbs.
Update:
As we observed sisters Yvonne and Yvette, we discovered they are very bonded to each other. They depend greatly on each other for comfort and confidence. We have decided it is in the best interest of these girls to keep them together. We have promised them that we'll find them a forever home where they can be together forever. If you are interested in adding two wonderful Labby girls to your family, please make an effort to meet the beautiful pair.
