Meet Bellamy, a gorgeous 2-year-old Golden Retriever mix that patiently waited for someone to come find her at the shelter. She quietly sat in her cage with her roommate, only getting up when someone walked up to the cage. She'd greet them at the door, wag her tail and when they walked on, she'd quietly return to her corner and put her head down to patiently wait some more.
When Bellamy's time was up, ADS knew they had to help this sweetheart. She quietly came out of her run and sat down in the parking lot to await further instructions. Only when she was safe inside her foster mom's car did she venture over to give a kiss and settle down into the passenger seat.
This beautiful girl is house and crate trained, good with cats, kids and other dogs. She is learning to play fetch, but is never the fastest dog in the yard, so she never gets to bring the ball back. Bellamy would much rather be keeping you company in the house, whether you need your feet warmed or just a little moral support. Bellamy is looking for a forever home where she will never have to sit in a corner with her head down, waiting for someone to come get her. Could that be your home?
