Cody is a very loveable and happy boy. He’s a family dog – sweet, playful and a little shy at first. Once he feels safe, he quickly warms up to be a real love bug. The more people giving him attention, the better! He loves people and wants to please; and he’s happiest and most comfortable when he’s by your side.

One of his favorite past times is sitting in the yard, watching everything that’s going on. Cody comes when called, is house-trained and he happily snuggles with you on the couch. He becomes animated whenever he sees his leash because he knows he’s going for a walk or a car ride. He’s not hyper but he will do his own version of the happy-doggie-dance to show he’s excited to see you.

Cody really loves chasing and wrestling with other dogs, and he’ll probably do best with another dog in his new home. He gets along very well with submissive females but often feels threatened by more assertive dogs. Since he still has a lot of puppy energy but is adult sized, he’ll also fit best into a home without small kids. He’ll thrive in a home where people are around often.

He learns quickly and he’s very happy to obey your every command. With a little time, training and confidence building, this boy will really shine. With lots of attention and love, he’ll make someone a wonderful companion.
