SquadDog Comet

Comet is a very friendly and active 3-year-old who loves attention. He adores being brushed and rubbed, and being allowed to spend lots of time with you. He’s quite handsome and adorable - and he wiggles all over when he greets you!

Comet spent his entire previous life outside away from his family, so he’s now happily adjusting to being an inside dog and being included in daily activities. Although he was well nourished in his former home, he was starving for attention, so just being with you makes his day. He bonds easily and he happily doles out lots of kisses and snuggles at every opportunity. He’s very smart and he picks up new things easily. He’s so eager to please and excited to be with you, training should be relatively easy and fun.

Comet loves to go for runs and to swim in the pool, so don’t expect him to be a permanent couch potato. He will enjoy snuggling with you on the couch, as spending meaningful time with his people is the most important thing in his life. After years of being lonely, Comet absolutely needs to be an integral part of his forever family -hanging out, getting exercise, and of course giving and receiving lots of love.

Note: Because Comet can leap a 5 1/2 foot fence, he’ll need a secure, 6-foot or taller fence to keep him safe and sound.

Update:

Comet is well behaved in the house and does well with my dogs. He needs some leash work but is a very nice dog. And he doesn't bark much. He warms up very quickly and adjusts easily. He played outside and chills out inside. Comet does need a tall privacy fence to ensure his safety; he was surrendered because he escaped his previous owner’s yard a lot.
