Look deeply into Corky’s adorable eyes and you can read his thoughts: “I may look like a Shepherd on the outside, but inside I’m pure Lab! Why else would I be in a Retriever rescue?”

Some Good Samaritans on their way to Florida found this irresistible 5-month-old Shepherd mix pup running down a very busy road. Poor Corky didn’t have any identification on him and his rescuers couldn’t keep him, but they were determined not to let him get hit by a car or to wind up in the shelter. That’s where we came in! Corky is a wonderful boy – sweet, friendly, cute and playful. His foster mom describes him as “awesome”. He’s an absolute charmer who loves children and other dogs - and of course, he loves to play! For such a young boy, he displays wonderful manners and is already housetrained. We know that once you meet him, you’ll fall just as much in love with this sweet, sweet boy as we did!
