Dara’s been passed around way too much in her short life. She’s 5-years-old and ready for someone to really love her, the way she loves - wholeheartedly. She deserves a solid, lasting, forever commitment from her new family. And she promises nothing less to her loved ones – nothing but adoration and devotion.
We’ve found that sweet Dara can be a little timid at first, especially when introduced to men, however with kind words and actions, and a tiny bit of patience, she warms up pretty quickly. She’s loves other dogs and she enjoys attention from her human friends. She’s playful and she’s extremely well-behaved. She’s a great friend and a wonderful companion.
Update from Dara's foster mom:
Dara is a joy. She was a little tentative when she first got to my house but after 24 hours she was settled in, happy and playful. She’s very, very sweet and loving - and very easy to be around. I think she’d make a great pet in almost any situation. She’s very friendly, people oriented, loves other dogs, is house trained, doesn’t get on the furniture or chew and comes when called. She’s always happy and thrilled to see you, will willingly play, go for a walk or just lie at your feet and gaze at you adoringly. What’s not to like?
