Handsome Hazey loves to smile for you. He’s affectionate, sweet and very happy. He’s a great family dog – he loves people and especially kids, and he’s really good with them. At 4-years-old he’s very social and also very smart. He knows lots of commands – just ask him to give you five - and he’s both house and crate trained.

He’s happy to sit on the couch with you having his belly rubbed or to chew on a chewy while lounging near you. He loves to fetch and he loves the water so if you combine the two, you’d better have some spare time, because he can swim-fetch forever. He’s good in the car, although not crazy about it, but he loves going for walks and runs. He’s very people friendly and on the quiet side. Hazey is good with cats but he doesn’t do well with dogs that aren’t submissive so he needs much more work on his social skills with other dogs.

We recommend him to be an only dog or to be well socialized with a submissive dog already in his new home. He’s not the kind of boy you can take to the dog park or on hikes where there’s interaction with unfamiliar dogs. This is one awesome boy, with a ton of potential. He is unbelievably sweet and he’ll be an excellent family member.
