Hobo is a one year old Lab mix who absolutely loves to please. His goal in life is to make all those around him happy. Hobo came into a rural shelter as a scared, timid, little boy who sat in the back of the run with his head down. The shelter staff tried to bring him out of his shell so that he would greet people at the front of the run with the hopes of getting adopted. Little by little, Hobo started to raise his head and look around, and move along the edge of the run towards the front. As the shelter started to fill, Hobo got a roommate in the run who taught him how to greet people, wag his tail and even give them kisses. Well, still no luck with a home, so the shelter staff started letting Hobo run free in the yard. That's where Hobo learned how to play and he's never looked back.
When he got to his foster home, Hobo continued to amaze everyone, quickly learning how to "sit" and "stay". He is quite content in his crate but he's also housebroken and good about playing quietly in the yard. His favorite games with his foster brothers and sisters are chase and tug-o-war. He's watching his playmates and quickly learning the rules of fetch but he's never the fastest dog so he hasn't mastered the return of the ball yet. Hobo would be great with kids as he's very even tempered and knows his manners. If you're looking for a happy boy who will do anything to please his future family, be sure to check out Hobo.
