SquadDog Joni

Joni is a very pretty and incredibly friendly girl with the shiniest coat around. She somehow wound up in a local high-kill shelter, but was lucky enough to be discovered by some nice folks who came to ADS for help.

Joni made fast friends with the staff at our vet office as soon as she arrived. She's not shy at all about expressing that she likes you a lot, even if you just walked through the door and she's never seen you before. That’s just the kind of gal she is. “Hi there – wanna be friends?” She loves attention and enjoys being goofy and silly as she romps around the yard…. Then she’ll swings back over for a full body hug.

Joni’s the kind of girl you enjoy spending the afternoon with - playing in the yard, snoozing on the porch, walking around the lake. She’s a doll and she’ll fit nicely into any family looking for a loving, fun and devoted new family member.

Joni is less than 2-years-old.

Update from Joni's foster mom:

Joni does chew a little, such as stuffed animals, but not an excessive amount. She can jump over a fence, so ideally she needs a high fence and probably should have a playmate. We think she’d do better with another dog in the family that she could play with.

She loves to run and play fetch, wrestle with other dogs and be petted on the belly. She’s very friendly and playful; she does have a lot of energy. She loves to play with my kids. She’s a great family dog.
