Kate is just fabulous… a real sweetheart – our little "cupcake". She’s around two years old, less than 50 pounds and a pretty reddish brown color. This nice-as-can-be Lab mix likes other dogs and kids… and is pretty fond of grown folks too.
When we discovered she’d been sitting in a local animal control facility since July, we knew we had to help her. She’s very engaging and circles in for hugs when she greets you. Then she flops over on her back for a belly rub.
Kate Cupcake has been waiting for her very own forever family for a very long time. She’s such a nice girl; she’ll easily blend into any loving family.
Update from Kate's foster mom:
Kate Cupcake loves to be with you. She’ll stick by your side inside and outside. She loves to lie on your lap or sleep close to you. She also loves to chew on rawhides, squeak her toys and chase the ball. She’ll even bring the ball back to you. She enjoys riding in the car and stays wherever you ask to her sit. I have yet to see her meet any animal or human she hasn't liked. She does like to be the center of attention so she can get a little jealous when that isn't happening. She is probably more than an average cat can handle since the hissing doesn't seem to phase her. She really just wants to play - not do any harm. She has tons of energy and loves to run.
Kate currently is not crated during the day while I'm at work and she doesn't tear anything up. Her housetraining still needs some work but has improved almost 100% since being here. She really is an awesome dog and will give back to her new owner more than they would ever expect.
