SquadDog Lilly

Lilly is a great, big love-bug. Her owners chose to give her up because they no longer had time for the responsibility of owning a dog.

This large, loving, family dog is 9-years-old and around 80 pounds. She likes to be with her people and she’s fully housetrained. She’s good with dogs, cats, kids and even birds. She’s a joy to be around and she’d love her new family to be able to take her on nice walks – especially on walks in the woods. We think Lilly’s simply awesome. You will too when you meet her.

Update from Lilly's foster mom:

Lilly likes everything and everybody! She is delightfully easy. She likes other dogs and is good with kids. She loves to go for walks and is very energetic for her age. I haven’t noticed any signs of arthritis or inability to get around. When she’s inside, she calms down and is content to follow me around, lie at my feet, and nudge my hand for a pat. She loves to chew on bones but hasn’t chewed on anything else.

She is one of the easiest fosters I’ve had. She’s active, easy going, playful when you want her to be but calm most of the time – and very friendly, loving and sweet. She’s just a delight.

I think any family would be extremely lucky to get Lilly. I love her. She is submissive to other dogs, well trained and easy-going. She runs to the door to greet me when I get home - follows me everywhere I go and sleeps by the side of my bed. She never causes any trouble. She can stay alone in the house all day with no problem – and doesn’t require crating. She’s never had an accident in the house, or chewed anything, or gotten into any mischief. What’s not to like? She may be a little older, but she doesn’t appear to have any age-related issues. She acts like she is about 4 or 5. She’s perfect!
