SquadDog Sabrina

Sabrina is super sweet and loving, and a little on the shy side. She tends to be cautious with new people, but it doesn't take her long to warm up though. She has a very gentle personality and she’s pretty calm for a one-year-old. She weighs around 50 pounds; we don’t expect her to get much bigger.

Sabrina loves to give you kisses and will really blossom with love and affection. She’ll make an awesome new family member.

Update from Sabrina's foster mom:

Sabrina is a gem! Someone will be very lucky indeed in adopting her. That someone should be patient (Sabrina is timid, and tentative with new people and surroundings) and willing to give her the training she needs and deserves! They're also going to fall head over heels in l-o-v-e with this soft-hearted little creature! (My Squad Dog Jake certainly has!).

She shows no aggression whatsoever with other dogs, food, or toys. She loves to cuddle and give kisses and will drop everything for a belly rub (and hopes you'll do the same!). She would do very well in a home with another playful dog but will thrive in a one-dog home with an owner who'll dote on this princess.

She's so deserving - I can't say enough good things about this young gal. And speaking of young, she's estimated to be around a year old, which makes sense cause she lives to play! But she has the calmer demeanor of an older dog. She's a really good fit (temperament wise) with my 5-year-old lab mix. They rough house and play together until they practically fall over... and then settle down nicely.

She's very curious about cats, doesn't want to harm them, but really wants to get up close...a little too close for my cat's comfort... at least for now. Sabrina is very good on a leash. She stays in a crate during the day when I'm at work and she uses the doggie door to the back yard when I'm at home. She's never had an accident in her crate or in the house, so I'm confident she's pretty well housetrained.
