Shy and gentle, that's our Sedona. Sedona's family surrendered her to a kill shelter when they were forced to move from their home. We took one look at her sweet face and disposition and told her we would help her find a new family of her own.
Sedona is about two years old and is a bit shy upon first meeting. She warms up quickly when food is offered - in fact she'll kiss you and stay by your side in exchange for a treat or two. Being a Golden x Beagle, Sedona is on the small side for a retriever (about 40 pounds).
Sedona is housetrained, crate trained and does well with other dogs. She was a bit scared of the cats she met, so we think she will likely be just fine with cats as part of the family.
