Found running down the middle of the road in North Georgia, Sophie G. is a lovely 6 year old Yellow Lab. Sophie is a bit on the chubby side right now, so we think she may have been out jogging - trying to take off some unwanted pounds (Sophie is now on a diet). A good samaritan was able to catch Sophie G. and take her home while she tried to find her family. After being unable to do so, ADS was contacted to help find Sophie a new home.
Sophie is doing wonderfully in her foster home - she's great with other dogs and is housetrained. Sophie is an active girl, so she'll do best in a home that can provide her with daily exercise. She needs a bit of training to learn how to walk on a leash and how to come when called.
More than anything, Sophie wants to be with people and she's good with children - she will make a wonderful addition to any family.
