Alice is a good-hearted soul. Alice loves to sit beside you, sharing the day, and she also enjoys having some fun!
The shelter staff choose Alice to send to ADS over many other dogs because of her lovely personality. Her foster mom heartily agrees - Alice is one nice little dog. She's sweet, loving and willing to do what you ask. She sits calmly to be petted - and she loves to a good belly rub! Alice is also a playful girl who loves to play with other dogs and people. She runs gleefully to the other dogs in the house as if saying "Let's play! Let's play!". Alice also has been doing fine with her foster mom's cat.
While Alice loves attention and is apt to give people licks, she's not overly needy. She's doesn't constantly cling to you. Alice is still a bit shy from being in the shelter, but she is catching on to her new life quickly. She loves being in the house and with a her foster mom and dad and other pets. She is very thankful for a chance at life.
Alice is a small girl, weighing about 45 lbs and her shoulders are barely knee-high. She is about 1 year old and is a yellow Lab mix. She is a quieter dog and she does well in a crate, relaxing calmly when crated. She is on her way to being housebroken and walks quietly on a leash and is not prone to pull. She doesn't like to be left alone outside and will find a way to get out of a fence and to her people. Alice is meant to be a true companion, hanging out with her family in the house and outside, joining in family activities. She'll bring joy to her new home.
