SquadDog Bella (aka Lovey)

Lovey's story goes something like this. Adopted at 3 months old, she was the apple of her new family's eyes. Of course. She was a cute little bundle of furry joy. A puppy that they just had to have. A puppy they renamed Bella.

But like all puppies, Lovey/Bella grew up and became an adolescent, young dog. A Lab mix full of energy. A unique personality that was different from the other dog that they had adopted. Her star was fading as she outgrew that cute little body and became a long-legged girl.

When Bella turned 2 years old, her family decided they were moving to a new town and there was no place for her. So Bella was given up and now she needs to find a family that will stand by their commitment to love her and take care of her forever. Unfortunately, Bella's story is a common one in the world of rescue.

Luckily, Bella is living in a foster home where she is doing fabulously. This pretty black Lab mix gets along great with children and other dogs. We have noticed that she is a little wary of men, but warms up once she gets to know them.

Bella is raring to go at playtime, but is rather mellow otherwise. She likes riding in the car and LOVES her crate. In fact, she will head in there by herself often just to rest, when she rests. She doesn’t sleep all day and would rather be near you keeping an eye on things. Bella is obedient and wants to be with her people. Her foster family loves her and thinks she will be quite a catch for some lucky family.

So, please come out to meet Bella if you would like to help her write the next chapter in her story and make sure she lives happily ever after.
