Cassius is an 18 month old black Lab mix with an enthusiastic outlook on life that you would expect to find in a Lab his age. This boy loves water so much that he is in his pool in February!. He also loves to play fetch - and fetch is even better in his pool. He is great with other dogs of all shapes and sizes - he currently lives with a 12 pound rat terrier and an 80 pound retriever. They will both curl up with him at night.

Cassius does well with children, but his energetic play combined with his height may be too much for toddlers. He is housebroken and crate trained. He loves the drivethrough at the bank where he gets a treat and loves to ride shotgun for a carpool. He is an excellent car rider and if the trip gets long, he stretches out in the back seat and goes to sleep. Because Cassius isn't fond of staying in the fence unless he has someone to play with and has been known to dig when left to his own devices, he must go to a home with a 6 ft privacy fence and preferably another playful dog. He is good in the house, but prefers to be out in the yard playing with his family and burning off his puppy energy. If you have an active family with a dog who needs a playmate, be sure to meet fun-loving Cassius!
