Lovely and snuggly, Donny is an 8 month old Yellow Lab youngster who came to ADS from a shelter in south Georgia. We suspect that Donny and his sister, Marie, were leftover after not being sold as holiday gifts, so the owner no longer wanted them and took them to a shelter.
Donny and Marie are almost identical - it is very hard to tell them apart. Given their current size of 40 pounds, we do not expect them to be huge as adults. Donny is more of a snuggler than Marie who is the more energetic of the two. They should be easily trainable because they are both highly food motivated.
Although they are quite the pair, Donny & Marie do not need to be adopted together and can be placed separately. Both are wonderful dogs and would be great additions to many families.
