SquadDog Flip

Flip is a product of divorce. But, someone forgot to tell him that this is a bad thing. In fact, this gorgeous 9 month old chocolate boy doesn't appear to have a care in the world. He's ALL Lab -- pragmatic, playful and pawsitively puppy. And did we mention his humongous paws???

Flip came out of the shelter looking rather thin, but he's beefing up in his new foster home and his coat is dark and shiny. He's a happy-go-lucky boy that wants to be right with his people and his canine pals. On leash he constantly checks with you to see where to go and that also tells us he would be a terrific companion for anyone. He can be shy around loud noises, but that's not unusual for his age and his new surroundings.

He is working hard to be the best Lab he can be and that involves training. Right now he's trying to master not chewing on hands and not jumping up. Flip does retrieve and really, really likes it. Plus, he readily comes when he is called. Housetraining is also on the list of things Flip is working to perfect.

This is one awesome dog that would be fine in a home as an only dog or with other canine friends. He wants to be trained and loves the attention. But, he doesn’t demand attention. If you tell him to settle down, go lay down and the other dogs are doing the same he falls right in. Flip is also a good boy in the car and has made a trek to the North Georgia mountains with his foster family.

Flip needs an active family that will continue his training and make sure he gets enough exercise to be the best Lab he can be. If you're seeking that quintessential Labby personality with the looks to match, then check out our boy Flip.
