Pet me, pet me, rub my tummy. Tootsie gets so excited when she meets people it's as if she is just begging for attention. She'll lean against you, craving the human contact she has probably never experienced for any length of time.

This sweet chocolate Lab mix came to us from a rural shelter in south Georgia. She caught the eye of one of the volunteers there, which turned out to be her ticket out of the shelter. The volunteer loved Tootsie so much that she took her home and contacted ADS. She charms everyone she meets. Our volunteers who transported this lovable girl had nothing but good things to say about her.

Because she is only around 2 years old, Tootsie still exhibits a lot of enthusiasm. But, it is primarily directed at getting people to pet her and rub her tummy. In fact, it was really tough to get a good photo of her because she kept trying to lick the photographer. She's on the submissive side and gets along with other dogs.
