SquadDog Abbie B

When the family was deciding which pet to give up, Abbie B drew the short stick. It seems that she and the family cat just didn't see eye to eye. Unfortunately, her former owners decided to leave this 9 year old Lab mix at the county shelter where she sat looking out the window awaiting their return for hours. The shelter volunteers were so upset for Abbie that they gave us a call to help.

If it weren't for the grey on her muzzle, this spunky little gal could pass for a lot younger. She's on the smaller side for a Lab, but you can't let her size fool you. Abbie B is strong for her size and adores standing on her little back legs to get attention from everyone she meets. We know that's a habit she needs to break -- but she is just darn cute when she gives her special hugs.

She's super friendly with people, and does well with most other dogs. But, should definitely NOT be in a home with a cat.

If you are looking for a more mature dog to be your companion, please be sure to meet Abbie B. All she wants is someone who will love her for just being herself. And of course, someone to give a hug whenever she can.

All of us here at the Atlanta Dog Squad would like to extend a special thanks to the generous people of Pilots 'n Paws for bringing us our dear, sweet Abbie B.!
