SquadDog Skeeter

There’s something really special about Skeeter. He seems to garner admirers wherever he goes. He is super sweet, loves to give kisses and he seems to fall head over paws in love with anyone that shows him a little attention.

This wonderful boy was dropped off at a local shelter along with his brother. His family said both were good with kids and other dogs, but they left no more info – not even their names. Skeeter’s brother did not make it out of the shelter – and Skeeter came very close to not making it out himself. We are very happy some of the shelter volunteers introduced him to us just in time.

Skeeter is a 3 year old Boxador – a Boxer, Labrador mix. He has all the characteristics of a boxer and a lab – good-natured, great with kids, loves people, good with other dogs… and he has just the cutest tad of an under-bite like a boxer. He loves his human friends and he’s working on keeping his enthusiasm under control and to keep all four on the floor when he meets you. He’s trying hard, but his joy at being with friends overcomes him. He still needs a bit of work; so don’t be surprised if, when you say ‘hello’, he’s suddenly on his back feet, gently putting his front feet on your shoulders and giving you a big happy smooch. As a matter of fact, Skeeter is so good at passing out kisses that he was one of the main attractions at our anniversary party doggy Kissing Booth.

Playful, friendly and loving, this boy is the perfect family dog. Be sure to meet him; you’ll love him.
